Project 1

Linux Operating System

We worked with the Linux operating system. We created groups, directories, and files. We wrote a Bash script and shared it with multiple users.

Circuit System

We used the IoT tech core kit to create a home security system simulation programmed by Arduino. We builded an home security system using mega 2560 board.

Introduction to Programming

I used Microsoft Excel and Python to meticulously compile and organize a comprehensive weather database for Chicago, IL. By leveraging code, I craft intricate charts and manipulate data with precision. This entire process is facilitated using Replit, a versatile online coding platform.

Programming with Objects

I used Spyder to create and explain the concepts of Object Oriented Programming (OOP).

  • Build a program using classes.

  • Develop a program using inheritance.

  • Understand and develop programs using Python libraries used for data storage, analysis, and data visualization.

  • Understand concepts of functional programming in Python.

  • Create programs using iterators and generators Python.

  • Save application data using files.

  • Produce an Object Oriented Python Program.

Multiple Traffic Light Controller

  • The system is built using two sets of Traffic Lights, a Push Button, LCD Panel, a Buzzer, IOT Button, and Motion Detector.

  • The System was built, coded, and tested in a Virtual environment called Wokwi.

Encrypted File Management

  • Asymmetric Key Encryption

  • File Encryption

  • File Decryption

  •  Stateful Firewall

  • Nmap Scan

  • sudo iptables --policy INPUT DROP

  •  Bring Your Own Device (BYOD)

  • Security Policy

  •  Multifactor Authentication (MFA)

  • Common-auth Configuration File

  • MFA Logon Screen

  •  Vulnerability Assessment

  • Nmap

  • NetCat

  • Wireshark

  • Nessus

Fundamentals of Infrastructure Security

  • Basic attack analysis

  • SSL/TLS file

  • Testing and creating Snort rules

  • Linux Processes

  • Process Hacker

  • Process Monitor

  • Time-based access
